Audemars Piguet Introduces New Royal Oak Mini Replica Watches
Luxury watchmaker Audemars Piguet has unveiled three refined versions of its Royal Oak Mini replica watches. With a case measuring just 23mm in diameter, these new models represent the smallest offerings in the current Royal Oak replica collection. This release continues the legacy of the women’s Royal Oak quartz series, which has held a significant place in the brand's history for over four decades.
Originally conceived by the legendary designer Gérald Genta in 1972, the Royal Oak made waves with its bold styling and avant-garde spirit, particularly among affluent male clients in Europe and North America. The strong demand for a women’s version soon followed. In response, Jacqueline Dimier, who led the design office from 1975 to 1999, was tasked with adapting Genta’s vision into a feminine timepiece. The outcome was the Royal Oak II, introduced in 1976.
This early women’s model featured notable references such as the 8638, which reduced the case size to 29mm and housed the small automatic Caliber 2062. A gem-set counterpart, Reference 8756, also gained popularity, shaping the future of the Lady Royal Oak line.
Building on the success of these early versions, Replica Audemars Piguet fulfilled growing demand for even smaller sizes by launching a 26mm Royal Oak quartz model in 1980. At such reduced dimensions, incorporating a mechanical movement posed challenges, so a slim quartz movement was chosen. This approach resulted in thinner, lighter replica watches, which appealed strongly to female customers. In 1986, a 24.5mm model with the quartz caliber 2508 followed, and in 1997, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Royal Oak, the brand debuted the Mini Royal Oak in a 20mm version, often referred to as the “mini oak.”
The Mini Royal Oak Reference 67075, crafted in yellow gold, was powered by the Caliber 2601, which at the time was the smallest quartz movement in the world. Developed by Jaeger-LeCoultre in 1982, it powered a limited production run including 465 steel pieces, 328 yellow gold units, 272 bi-metal variants, 101 white gold pieces, and 88 in pink gold. Diamond-encrusted models like the 67076 (549 pieces) and the ultra-rare 67072 (only 13 made) followed. Between 1980 and 2000, a total of 162 different Royal Oak quartz models were produced across 16 sizes, ranging from 20mm to 39mm, using 13 distinct quartz calibers.
The newly released Royal Oak Mini replica watches are a modern take on this historic lineage. They echo the tradition of compact, elegant design while adapting to contemporary preferences. Slightly larger than the original Mini Oak, the 2025 editions feature a 23mm case with a slim 6.6mm profile. Available in yellow gold, white gold, and pink gold, these timepieces also come with an integrated bracelet. Their compact build is paired with a practical water resistance of 50 meters.
These new Royal Oak Mini replica watches carry forward a rich heritage while offering a fresh, elegant option for modern women seeking timeless design in a refined, miniature form.
